Letter From Mary Lee

Hello Friends! Welcome to the launch of the official UK Mary Lee's Corvette fan site, hosted by wonderful new UK singer Dani Hawkyard. I'm so pleased to finally have something like this in the UK. You've all been so good to me and I love coming there to play.

I'm sorry it's taking me a while to get back this time around. I've written a new record and am trying to figure out how to get it recorded just right. It's actually sort of difficult. As you can imagine, there are many things to figure out besides money, which is always the first topic to consider! When I got into the music business I was such an idealist and that factor always shocked me, and still does to some extent. Shouldn't art and creative considerations always lead the way? Of course they should! But we're here in this 3 dimensional world of practical realities and money leads the way so much of the time. Money is good too, a great source of fun. Well, those are my brief musings on the topic.

Dani has wisely suggested that to keep this site special and different from my website or myspace page, I will write letters just to you and of course answer any questions you might have. If there's anything you'd like me to address in particular, just ask and I will. It will be my pleasure in fact.
