Hi everyone. Nice to be [nearly] first on something for a change! Then that's only 'coz this site was put together by my daughter, so no one else has seen it yet.. 'cept Ellie of course. We saw MLC the first time at the Stables at Wavendon, supporting Thea Gilmore, and have been keen fans ever since. I hope she likes the site and that you all do too. Remember it only works if you all use it too, so spread the word.. Favourite song? For me it's "1,000 Promises Later".. I'd like to know why Mary Lee recorded it twice on successive albums. Loved the suit when she played in England last year.. maybe I should get one like it for work?!....Steve H.....

I got into MLC via the wonderful owner of this website, whilst on the bus to school (I'm so young!). It was something completely new to me, as I was a huge fan of System of a Down at the time (and am for the rest of my sane life), and I loved the new style of music. I'd never really got into sorta country stuff, but the lyrics were meaningful and the rhythms were catchy (especially Gladys). I always love an album that captures the best of both worlds (happy and sad) and I look forward to the next gig, no pressure :).
